I wouldn't mind getting a second house down the road. This is gonna have to wait for a while.
Are their any setbacks as far as how close you can be to the water?
What would the temperatures be like June through September?
How big of a garage can you build?
Are the property taxes reasonable?
Would you be able to trim or cut down a tree if you needed to?

I hae a cabin on Lower Hay Lake.
I think 70 feet setback?
June is 70/80's, July is 80/90's, so is August, cooling. September is back in 70's.
Garage will depend on lot size. Lot's of storage buildings up there to buy.
Taxes are expensive.
Yes to tree trimming.

I should really add it's the best boating in Minnesota. I think it's prettier than Gull, although Gull is wonderful too.
Minnetonka is too busy and too much "in the cities".
Shoot me an email if you have further questions. I've been up there for 10 years. Know realtors, the lakes, etc...

Where are you located on Big Trout? If you go into Lower Hay Lake, make an immediate right turn and I'm about halfway down the shoreline.
The Spectre is basically sold. I will know more later today. Need to start shopping for the next one.

I get up to the chain 2-3 times a year for weekenders in the Baja.
Is it true that the house (9-11 places to the left of you), on the point going into Big Trout is Kristi Yamaguchi's? Dam nice house and landscaping.
