I've done several of those, you'd be surprised how well they look just by changing the colors away from the 90's Miami look (the pink more then anything). I did one where i changer the pink and the purple to a granite looking grey (similar to a fleckstone) and the other to a yellow to orange fade.

I did this for another member about a year ago for reference.

Dave, I was considering the same.. how did you change colors? My last 25ol had the prev owner had put red sticker over the red (colors looked like Bad Idea). Considered doing that with my light green and the lil bit on pink on the side also.

ok.. I did some research.. Looks like you can buy 3m vinyl in just about any color and using knifeless tape butt those two stripes together?? would just need to decide on colors but looks pretty easy and economical to do... vs. a wrap.......

Dave, what software are you using to do the rendering?? thanks.

sorry to hijack..

I use CorelDraw X3 (I'm about the only one lol) I like it and it does what i need plus its what i learned on fourteen years ago. I have all the high dollar stuff (FlexiPro,AI.etc) but old habits die hard i guess. Never was able to make the switch.

So you are wanting to go over the old colors with vinyl as opposed to paint? That wont be easy to map the shape to the exact line placement unless thats what you were doing with the knifeless stuff. Never done it that way but i suppose it could work. .

I actually down loaded a trial version of corel photo shop.. will log on with my phone and show the differences covering the light green and pink made... and yes.. they have some youtube video of the knifeless tape...pretty slick stuff and also watched one how to butt seams up. The 3m vinyl roll seems to be inexpensive as well.. Just have to figure out what colors would go with Teal... even found a 29 ol for sale where they changed the stripe to black also.

With Pink

tried to match Teal.. came close
