Know I seen it here some where. But is there any HP gains with 496 manifolds over stock 454 manifolds.I know there is a great weight difference with the aluminum ones.But is there any real HP or performance gains. JOHN SR

I replaced my stock 454 exhaust with aluminum 496 manifolds on my previous boat ( a 22 foot Powerquest). I went from 60 mph to 62 mph. Motor was a
454 mag carb. No other changes were made.
