Best answer is most likely no wax.

You're kidding, right? You don't wax the bottom.

No wax! Take your hand and wipe it on a car after being waxed when wet. It sucks your hand to it. Some actually wets and the bottoms of boats with 400 grit to create bubbles which in turn causes lift and speed. Crazy I know but works.

Eliminatorshane-- you comment about the 440 grit is not crazy -- back in the day when I would do a lot more water skiing I would take a scotch pad and scuff the bottom of my EP ski. It sounds crazy but it does work.

I will be honest that I do wax the sides and a good portion of the bow but that's it-- there is something about a shinny boat!

Unless you are trying to get every mph out of boat ( race ) No wax
But if you don't want a water stain use a marine sealer not a wax
