Can anyone tell me the GPS speeds of the 382's & 353's with 500EFI's in them. I se al sorts of diffrent speeds posted on boats for sale.

382 with 500's are 74 mph I was told by many owners...

I've had HP500 353 running 83GPS, 525s running 85 with 4blade labbed 30P, my 98 382 with HP500s tops out at 70 full of fuel, have seen 75 on another 382 with 500EFIs light load.

Must have had a tail wind and with a strong current...

HP500's best at 80 labbed props, 525's 83, again labbed props.

All day numbers, not the typical "Today I ran 83!" We've all had those days where the boat either ran REAL fast or just the opposite! Conditions, conditions, conditions!

Those are real GPS#s over a 10 year period selling Formula on LOTO, not wish o meter readings or going down stream with a tail wind. But, hey, this is the inter-web and comments are always welcome. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
