Looking at SL63, can anyone share their experiences with reliability?
Merry Christmas from Brickell Key!

Under warranty- great car!

Out of warranty- wallet crusher! My buddy is the Service Manager at a local MB store.....brake job on anything AMG is $4800! They toss out everything, all new parts/no turning rotors etc.

Contact Lucky Strike on here, he is a dealer that moves a lot of those AMG cars.

check out www.offleaseonly.com

Tons of inventory and they have a new store in Miami right near the Cigarette factory. The owner is a long time Nortech owner (building a new 52/1350's) and also is a boat dealer (boatsdirectusa.com).

i have an ml63 and it is now out of warranty and have had 0 problems. this is not my first mercedes and i can say nothing but good things about the product. the 63 motor is outstanding in every way (503hp) just awsome. these cars are built to last. forget about the expensive service on them, there are plenty of good service shops that can handle the car at a reasonable rate. unless you are on the race track every day then i wouldn't worry to much about service other than "a" and "B" and you can do them yourself if you like. if you are looking for a 911 they will not be in any different than a mb as far as service, maybe a bit more. good luck with your search.

I have an S65 and MB of Miami changed pads and turned my rotors said they had plenty of thickness left no need to replace them. I was very surprised. If you do get a benz down here don't bring it to MB of coral gables for service they are idiots. The 63 is a great motor if you can get the Biturbo version even better.

I drove a 09 cl63 last year for 10 months without a problem.
I have a 08 cl63 that I've been using now for about 2 months not a hiccup.

Were taking in on trade a 2007 Mercedes SL-55 Black with 31,000 miles if that would interest you.
