My wife dosen't trust me and it pisses me off
My wife doesn't trust me with anything important. She says I don't pay attention to anything! She also says I do things without letting her know.
Since I have a "new addition" coming in Feb, (NOT A BABY) that she knows absolutely nothing about, I figured I would start
softening her up, showing I can change. I can be responsible. When the new addition shows up in Feb, I can tell her I thought I told her and it's
an isolated incident.
To probe myself I baby sat my daughter alone for 4 hours.
I brought her to the office with me.
I kept her with me while I cleaned the garage.
This should prove I can change and be responsible!!

OK, so my wife is the same way, but it does not bother me at all. We have an agreement, I let her make all the small decissions and we will make all the big ones together. So far, after more then 31 years of marriage there have not been any big decissions, but I'm ready for when one comes along. LOL.
Actually, she gets to make all the house and home type decissions as long as they are in our budget and I make all the mechanical ones. Anything big for our budget gets discussed. We've agreed on all our Boat purchases so far but I have gotten my way more then she has with that.( I/we spent more then she really wanted.)
I made a small mistake about 5yrs ago by talking her out of a new Mini Cooper S and into a new BMW328xi instead. She really likes the BMW alot, but I still hear about it almost everytime one of those "cute" little Minis goes by.
My budget and yours are quite different though, your limits would be alot(miles) higher then mine but I think something similar could work well for you too.
