Default Anyone using thier tablet for navigation?

I have purchased an app for android called copilot that turns your android tablet into a off line gps. It works awesome. I see that they have the same app for marine navigation called mxmariner cost is $6.99 http://mxmariner.com/. and they sell these waterproof cases with a clamp built in. Just wandering if anyone has done this.

I use a samsung galaxy tab 2 7 inch...169.00 and MX mariner 9.99. It works 10x better than my standard horizon marine gps that I hope is in use as a boat anchor at this point...lol... Cant go wrong for under 200.00

I use Navionics on my Ipad 2 and use Ram Mounts aircraft mounts to keep it secure...

I do .. I use the TAB 2 10".. I find that I`m wanting a real GPS now.. something that doesn`t go flying every so often, it doesn`t need to be charged up, has a cover so the sun doesn`t fry it, something I can read better in the glare, the Tablet can get to be a pain but I just have no room to mount a real GPS

Seems like all the Android guys are doing well with it from this thread. The only person I know that did it was using an iPad and didn't care for it. It overheated in the summer and wasn't very accurate. Also in the direct sunlight was hard to read.
