While I applaud Stu for the "out of the box thinking in the new year", suffice to say the big glitch with this event will be the pricing.......Normal FPC Poker Runs are $750.
Can't see a guy paying $750 to ride a bike to Key West and the participation nets him a bag of stuff and a t shirt. The plane aspect is neat but I can't see the allure of doing a poker run in a plane/helicopter etc. I believe regular bike poker runs are $50-100 events, so to pay a 7-15X premium to go with FPC seems steep. Can't tell the land and air participants that the "safety fee/safety patrol" is for them either.
