As the title says. Who has videos of boats idling, running at speed with the gibson bullets?
What are peoples opinions of Gibson? I am running a semi-dry (a little water introduced at the tip) setup with 4.5" tails.
Thanks
Jim

I have them on a built 524, they sound great. They take the edge off and reduce the volume to the just legal level. I have heard that the GGB's have less back pressure. If you search on mufflers you will find more than a few threads and many have commented that on more than 600hp the Gibsons will knock off a couple mph. If your primary criteria were sound, I would definitely get them. I will say this, the Stainless is pretty low grade and they take a lot of maintenance to keep them shiny. I have had the clamp ons for several years and run in pretty rough water and I haven't lost one yet.

i put the gibson mufflers on towards the end of the year. they are a little on the quiet side. way more quiet than i expected. my boat was extremely loud and now its actually kinda nice for every day boating. did lose a little on the top but nothing to write home about. as thisislivin said the stainless is low grade and does take ALOT of polishing to keep mine shiney. on the flip side i dont have to shout to have a conversation while idling around and the windsuckers stopped giving me the finger when i go by through the harbour lol.
