Is that a Pad Bottom Boat? If he gets the Prop in the right spot (High enough to lose the Gear case drag, But still have enough Leverage for Positive trim) He should be a high 80's -90mph boat. I have seen a 26' Velocity run over 90 with similar power..

Yes it is a pad bottom, copied from velocity. We have the drive high to start. Glad to see there is interest in the build. Be happy to answer any question

Hull minus rigging weighed in at 1500lbs. we will scale it again after the rigging
