other than size what are ride handling speed differances assuming same power, porpus comparisons?

The answer to your question is the boats run very similar to one another. It is the same bottom mold. The notch is filled in on the 40 while it isn't on the majority of 36's. We've sold and serviced a ton of both models in both big and small power.The differences in the two models lie more in the amenities, functionality, looks and price than performance and handling. I'm happy to share our experience with both models.

The 40 has a much bigger cock pit then the 36
