FRED! Any chance you could pick up a transmission in St. Johns for me? I'd pay for the fuel. Kaama told me he hopes to be on the water this weekend.

Fred.... all is well...so far!!!motor runs fine only makes 20lbs of oil pressure at an idle(when hot) but the crank had a mark in it....it makes 40lbs at 3500rpm I think it will get me through the season.

Dyno glad to hear your back on the water... Your oil pressure seems suffcient.. 10lbs.. for each 1000 rpm.. so at 3500 rpm you only need 35 lbs and you have 40lbs .... Just enjoy the season bud

season..... hmm season is going pretty good... after a piston broke at 20hrs... fixed that and now have 58 hrs on it... just came back from lake cumberland and ran it there all week... she is running good and just got to run it with a GPS and got 73.1 mph.. so i am pretty happy with it... only a few more months then back to the drawing board to build another mighty mouse for next season....

Fred, Mint City Auto Sales is supposed to have a transmission out for me by the middle of this week. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to have them install it in my Toronado or if I'm going to have it done locally. I'll let you know either way.

Dave, the guys across the way from my shop work pretty cheap if you bring a bag full of green money. I'll check on a price if you'd like me too.
