Default waterless coolants

.

Anyone ever use this waterless coolant in their closed-cooling system?

Is this a good product for marine use?

we looked at it breifly,

realized not suitable for highly stressed cooling systems.(race engine)

From what I read it reduces the total cooling capacity of your system

looks to me like just a marketing spin on using straight antifreeze for more money . . . . . which makes sense these days. That stuff is roughly a $107 a gallon for basically straight glycol . . . .

Read up on this on the diesel truck forums out there. Pretty popular with those guys.

I can understand it if you have a bunch of rarely driven collector cars, it makes no sense if you are working a motor hard, water is way more efficient at transfering heat. They just called antifreeze "coolant" to sell it, every race car I have been around uses water and water wetter
