Greetings,
It's me with my odd questions again..
I've been hanging out on the performance boats online forums a bit and through looking at the for sale items there came across a style of boat that I am somewhat interested in.. It appears that it is called a "whaler" type boat - I assume because it has a center console type setup similar to boston whalers, but its a performance boat.. A number of people made these kind of boats it looks like with one of the familiar names being Eliminator (google Eliminator Whaler)..
I like the boats because I've always thought center steering was cool - and also because it takes the roominess of a deck boat with the low profile style of a go fast lake boat.. Plus it looks like these were older boats so they are much more affordable than some of the cats and modern deckboats that I've been looking at.
My question is this... Most of what I have seen are the "west coast" style boats... Meaning the upholstery, dash style, etc.. I was curious if there were any boats of this type that were a bit more polite in their looks ...
Please also realize that I'm not referring to a typical center console fish or "sport" boat like a scarab sport or a concept, or anything like that.. These are basically day cruiser styled boats with center controls rather than typical left or right hand controls...
An example:

Thanks for any help provided...
