Guess my question is, why do you want an after market air filter when the standard flame arrestor will pass just as much if not more air with less restriction then and air filter

I had a holley high volume flame arrestor and it caused such a disturbance when I was on the dyno that it cost 20hp and had a nastly mid rpm lean spot. Whet to a K&N and everything was back to normal. Flame arrestors do matter.
