Wife is stuck on the road in Wallingford Ct. The tranny let go in her Tahoe, any recommendations for a trustworthy local shop?

Only people I know of in the area Eriksson Industries . . .great rebuilders but not a shop to pull the gearbox

get a dolly or trailer and drag her and the car home. then if u get screwed by shop you can get in their face easier. u gotta do that drive at least once anyway. even if full-time 4wd, just unhook rear driveshaft and coat hanger it up off ground but down away from diff. don't tell uhaul what u are towing. say it is a 93 accord.
