Default 24 Super I/O performance advantage or not w/ 10"-12" Extention and coned or Sporty ?

For a 24 Super I am wondering what is the BEST most worth while set-up from others experience here.

With a Motor in the 475-525 hp range and a Bravo I setup, is there any performance benefits of VALUE such as a going to a higher X dimension, coned lower, or extension box 10'-12" that actually adds speed and handling improved value? Better handling with higher speeds I think is important.

OR....Are these changes best left for only helping when more HP is also considered ?

Thanks

I would think they would respond well to an extension box but I don't know for sure. The problem is the 24s don't have enough hatch clearance to raise the engine, so the drive would be buried even further with a standard extension box.

I am going to find out how they like a -2 sportmaster this season. I've been running a standard bravo lower and best speed to date is 92gps. No cone all stock. I really don't know how it'll react so I also have a 1 and 2" spacer coming to help me dial it in. I considered getting an imco but I'm more concerned with stability and feel the longer sportmaster skeg could help.

I honestly wouldn't mess around with any of these things until you have a lot more hp. What speeds are you running now?
