Has anyone else had this issue before? I totaled out my 1972 Datson Pickup. My battery in my Datson Pick up died. So I went out and I bought a new Die Hard battery from Sears, the largest one they had that would fit. I shoe horned the new battery in. Jumped in the truck turned the key to start it, that's when the trouble began.. The starter locked up and that big Die Hard flipped my truck 3 times before I could shut the key off. I was praying the starter bolts would shear off but no luck.

I will be running an edelbrock air gap intake also. I am planning to tow my 38 Fountain with it. The stock powertrain was lackluster. I think 1 ton trucks are overated. I see no reason why this 1/8th ton wont pull the boat fine with the new engine and air bags installed. I still have the 1972 Uniroyals, some sidewall cracking but should be ok for another year or so.
