I was told by some people that on my boat a 98 28zx with 350 mag mpi's that i should be running a 23p mirage plus rh and a lh mirage 23p not plus. Is there any truth to that. Thanks in advance.

That makes no sense. You should run the same props on both sides and the rpms should be the same as long as both engines are equally healthy.
