Hey everyone,

My plastic fuel tank was punctured by the PO. I guess he decided it was a good idea to enlarge the drain hole from the forward storage compartment into the belly bilge where the fuel tank sits. Looks like he decided a large gauge power drill was the best way to do this.

Since the boat is a 1997 the tank is unavailable pretty much everywhere, and I can't find a similar plastic one that will fit. So I'll have to have a custom aluminum one made.

What companies do you guys like?

So the quote from FMT was pretty good, however they don't quote or estimate shipping. Did you have one shipped? Do you remember what the damage was? They ship freight collect which is a bit scary.

Luthers quote was a solid about more, but I can pickup in RI if freight from FL gets stupid.
If anyone had input on this, I'd appreciate it.

It cost me just over 100 dollars to truck freight my tank from Florida to Cleveland. Tank was 6feet long and 2feet wide by 14inches deep.
