I have plenums off,, what is size and best tool to remove the 4 machine screws that hold fuel rail down,,
Looks like regular Allen head,, I don't want to strip. They're not wanting to budge.

are you sure they're allen head.i had mine off last spring (2000 454 mag)and i thought they were torx .i could be wrong.if your having trouble you could try an impact driver.you shouldnt have to kill it with a hammer.good luck

Took a clay imprint you're right torx. Just another reconfirmation 1.) I need more light in the barn... 2.) I need glasses...wtf.

They are Torx and the Merc paint job likely 'glued' them on. The right sized Torx will get them out without too much difficulty.
