Got one of my transom plates off. Need to start ordering parts. Here's what I have so far. What else??

Upper swivel pin
Upper swivel pin nut
Upper swivel washers large/small
Upper swivel bushing large
Upper swivel bushing small
Upper swivel pin seal
Lower swivel bushing/cotter pin
U-joint bellows
U-joint bellows retaining ring
tool to install U-joint bellows retaining ring
Exh bellows
Shifter cable bellows
Water hose
Water hose inserts
Water hose insert installation tool
Outdrive oil line int/ext and clamps
Transom seal
Transom seal sealant???
Thru transom bolts/studs
Outdrive seal kit
Hinge pin
Helicoil kit for hinge pin threads (5/8-18)
5/8" drill bit
Bushing install tool (Merc# 91-43578)
Lower exh pipe gasket
Bellows installation tool
Lower shift cable?
Ground cables/screws
Paint for bell housing and gimble ring
Trim sender screws


I already have :
red loc-tite
bellows adhesive
spline greese

One complete reman transom assembly,
if I'm not mistaken its not much more than the parts you have listed never mind your time

I'm currently at $1607 for the parts to rebuild both sides (including the special tools I don't have).
I quick search shows rebuilt transom assemblies at $1700/ea.
Unless I forgetting something major, looks like less than half.

Replacing the transom assemblies isn't that much less work.
Still gotta pull the engs, drives, old transom assemblies and prep the surfaces.
I'm figuring I can complete the bellows, bushings, water and oil lines in abt 4 hrs/side as long as I don't run out of beer!
