Default Merc Racing 850s and 1075s

With the advent and intro of the more powerful and more advanced 1150s, 1350s and all of the other latest iron, has any of the notable engine builders of the world developed any kind of a package that might make the 850s and 1075s more durable and dependable. It seems that there are a number of good buys out there right now with this power but the heavy maintenance might be holding them back.
