Yea a 540 hp motor to replace the 525. Makes no sense to me

Tap on those new lowers at on the Cigarette Top Gun. See if they are hollow.

Heard they were coming out with a new modified #8 drive or at least lower unit for it...?

You would think they would try to update the motors or fill in a gap between the 565 and 1100 as the 700sci is a little dated.

With the 520/525/540/565 lineup, Mercury is competing with itself. Weird....
