I hope I don't catch a lot of flak, but I have a relatively small budget for wanting a stylish, RELIABLE, go fast boat. I'm looking for 232's - 252's, would consider 212's, around 19K.... who isn't, haha?? I thought I had a deal, but we couldn't come to terms, and his wife wants to keep it now that it's warming up. We're in North Alabama and willing do drive with cash in hand. So what's out there??
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have a 2000 252 Islander in Biloxi MS. 7.4 MPI, Brand new Merc shortblock 0 hours on rebuild, new transom assy, drive serviced with a new prop shaft carrier pretty much everything behind the bench seat as been gone through. All work professionally done, custom stereo, solid interior, two props etc. 23k obo with trailer Title in hand. Im in the Navy and located in Va Beach but have friends that can show the boat. 757-254-6176

Don't do the 212. Save up your $ and make sure you get one w bolsters. My 2nd boat was a 212 and although a nice boat- once you sit in some bolsters you will understand.
But then we Sit back down in the Skater so Hmmmmm.

I agree with 232/252 over 212. Significant difference between the two including deadrise. Bolsters is what pushed us to the 232 as the smallest Baja option as well as over any other brands. There are definitly 232's to be had for 19k or less.

Thanks Gents!! I've found quite a few in our price range, however, they were either ROUGH or had the funky graphics... I'm being picky! I know that we will for sure stick with a 232+. Thanks for looking. Also, I'd prefer a cuddy (ol Stabbin Cabin, haha).
We've also been looking HARD at the Rinker 232's. They seem very versatile. I've got cash in hand. Let me know what pops up with good graphics, or on the Rinker side of the house!! Text or call... 256. 572.4784.
Thanks,
Cole B.

Here's a couple other options:
Needs motor, but good opportunity if you want to build a faster boat: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1998-Baja-23...wer_Motorboats
Couple 212's with decent graphics:

TTT... I've left the house to pick two boats up and they've sold while in route!!! No, the sellers wouldn't take a deposit. Looking in the 19-20K range, no funky graphics.
can't edit my original post... sucky...
