Default Interior Ideas

I'm dropping off my interior for my Condurre 269 to have it redone and was looking for some ideas to make it look a little less like the 80's. Any ideas, input or pics I'd love to hear.

Thanks

Here are a few things i have done to my 79 formula 255 Liberator that might give you some ideas.

I Upgraded the gauges and changed to a Kiekhaefer Zero effort Control

Added McLeod Bolsters from a '92 292 Formula SR-1

I'm a long way from done but we have similar boats...might get you thinking.

It's just my opinion but I Love the looks of an old school boat with a fresh new interior redone in the old school style.
That's what I plan on doing with the Scarab.

x2. Fresh vinyl in updated colors in keeping with the old school look will look the best. IMHO an older classic boat with more modern interior looks out of place.

Check this thread for a older Cig I did a few years back.

I totally agree with you guys. I'm not trying make it look like a new boat, just dont really wanna go back to the multi color tuck n roll. Smokes that Cig interior is gorgeous! That idea is what I'm looking for. Primarily white with well desgined panels and a tasteful accent color. I do want newer shifters and gauges though.
