AIr Gap RPM or Performer for procharged 454 with Edlebrock oval marine heads?

I have a 454 with Stock cam and exhaust, procharger blow through carb and after cooler, 9.5/1 compression, Edlebrock Marine oval heads Want to run pump gas and keep bravo drives.
Should I go with the Edlebrock 2161 performer or 7561 air gap Intake manifold?
Thinking the air gap will keep it cooler or should I just block the exhaust crossover on the Performer?
Should I run a thermostat or not?

Since you're running FI your intake temps are gonna be higher, Probably no noticable difference between the two, or blocking the crossover. For the thermostat I'd say yes since you boat in colder water, it'll keep you motor temps consistant.

hp 500 intake or a victor jr..you will end up with turbulence with a air gap.. the dart and edlbrock victor jr is a straight shot and thats what you want with boost..you want the boost to get to each cylinder as even as possible..

Now that i'm up and have no drink in my hand ,I re-read the post .I didn't see it was boosted. I agree with fix..

If you're budget is tight, this one would work. I'd also watch that 7psi boost level with 9.5:1 Compression. Especially if you have a small cam. An IAT gauge after the intercooler would be a good idea.
