Guy has a 496 MAG and needs to replace the exhaust due to wear out. Mercruiser parts says it can be either 865331A01 standard rise, or 865332A01 with 2 inch rise. Does anyone know how to tell, maybe what is the length of either?

The standard riser is 5 1/4" from the bottom of the flange to the center of the outlet and the 2" taller is 7 1/4" from the bottom of the flange to the center of the outlet. The outlet is the flared out portion.
