Default Bilge coating is chipping off

The bilge coating is chipping or peeling off in the engine compartment, it's the white stuff with the black splatter paint. Any ideas on what to use to repair those areas?

the coating... ??? the paint? or the fiberglass itself?

Ayuh,... Sounds like it was put on a poorly prepped surface,...

Ain't nothin' you can do 'bout it, as it'll continue to peel,...

Next time ya got the motor out, Sand everything, 'n paint it again, with Rustoleum industrial enamel,...
