Default 6.2 420hp gas GMC SIERRA or 6.7 Ford Powerstroke???

Looking for opinions on trucks.

Time to get out of my 2006 6.0 powerstroke. ...becoming unreliable and i dont trust it anymore (only 110k miles)

Needs:
Crew cab
6.5' bed
Towing capabilities (Porsche race car, donzi 22 etc.)
Durability (want to keep for about 10 yrs)
4x4

Wants:
Split bench up front
Excess power (dont like a truck without guts)

Considering
2014 sierra 1500 4x4
Crew cab standard box (6.5 foot)
6.2 litre 420 h.p.
Around $47,000

OR

2014 F250 6.7 powerstroke
Crew cab 4x4
XLT Package
$46,000

Thoughts and opinions are very much appreciated.
Cheers!

Jay

Is that a typo?

You can get the diesel 3/4 ton for less then the gas 1/2 ton?

Drive them both. You'll end up in the ford every time. I love my 6.7. My cousin loved mine so much he unloaded his '13 Ltz dura max as soon as he found the right ford. The gmc line feels and drives like a compact compared to the ford.

Surprisingly no. The GMC with 4x4 and the 6.2 (same engine as Vette I think) gets expensive.

I am leaning towards the 6.7 PS but I'm also concerned over how complicated and unriliable many of these new diesels have become. The 420 h.p. 6.5 foot bed on the new Sierra crew cab is tempting too.
