Default Will my Rage go on a lift? stepped hull and all

so that is the question I am purchasing a lift for my 2006 Nordic Rage and a slip this year. I wAs noticing the lift has two bunks, one for each side. Will this work with my stepped hull? I guess I never thought but just remember that trailer has broken up bunks.

Yes you can but you will need to modify your bunks for the step. I can show you a picture of mine. You will just need to add another board to the back of the bunks to elevate the transom of the boat. If you cut the end at the same angle as the step on the boat. It will fit perfectly.

I will see if I can take some pictures today since the boat is off the lift. I basically added a piece of trex decking to the original bunk to build up the step. I then had the whole bunk re-carpeted. You need to build up the step about the same amount as the size of the step. I have seen many people just put a stepped hull boat on a flat bunk. The boat will fit. I kept mine on the lift during the week that I had the step built. I just would not leave it on there. You would definitely deform the hull over time.

Not the best angle but if you blow it up you can kinda see what everyone is saying.

Hey Pluguglyinhere I just measured 39" outside bunk to outside bunk. My bunks are 6"wide. The overall length of the bunks are 10'. The steps are in the middle at 5'. My transom sits about 4-5" past the end of the bunk. My lift is a 4K Basta Marine lift. I have a buddy that has the 6K version which is more like the size lift you have. His bunks are longer at 12' but the rest is the same. Hope this helps.
