Around the 3:30 mark check out the British Boat - Yellowdrama that boat must be well built like a tank and like a timex. - taking a lickin and keeps on tickin and keeps coming back for more.

Just wonderful footage.....1972 Cowest Torquay Cowes race, Mike Mantle was nav for Bonomi/Powers on Aeromarine IX. ..they won the race by going around Lyme Bay instead of going across like the others. Mike gave me a copy of this photo taken after winning the race.....pretty damn cool if you ask me!

My father finished that race in a 28' Smuggler, personally I don't fancy doing that race in anything less than 35'.

That particular Yellowdrama (I) was not one of Don Sheads best boats, my friends father tragically had a fatal accident in that boat at the start of the 1976 Cowes Torquay Cowes race.
