Default heat exchange conversion/salt water protection

guys I have a nice set of 502's about 2005 build they are in great condition and only really used in freshwater...
im running my boat most often in salt and I dont like the salt going thru the engines. how hard and expensive would heat exchangers installation be?
or any other solutions??
