Saris Racing Team to Partner with MDC DriveGuardian for the 2014 season

Saris Racing Engines Offshore Race Team will be using the DriveGuardian by MDC product for their upcoming 2014 race season. "Our motors are right in that "Bravo Killer" area," said Jason Saris, Engine builder and Throttleman. "Right now, every other race we freshen our drives, and find small issues with them. We feel by using the DriveGuardian by MDC, not only will we be able to spread our-freshen up time out by a considerable amount, but we will have more confidence on what we have on the course. There is no worse feeling than hoping your drives will last the race, especially when you're in the lead." The Saris Racing Team is coming off a successful 2013 season with their new boat. With 3 firsts and a second out of the 4 races they entered, they are feeling good about the 2014 season. "MDC is proud to be a sponsor and partner for the Saris Racing Engines Offshore Race Team," said Mike Clesceri, President of Marine Design Corporation. "We are confident that DriveGuardian will improve the reliability of their drives and wish them a successful 2014 season." "We're planning to run more races this year," said Johnny Saris, the driver. "Last year we were really learning the new boat, now that we have her figured out, I think we will have one of the boats to beat in Class 4. We have some awesome competition, being able to run as hard as we need to without sweating over the drives will be an added bonus." Team Saris' boat is a 32 Cobra, rigged by Team Saris Performance Marine, and powered by twin full-staggered 650HP Saris Racing Engines, with Bravo XR drives. Our drives are 100% fresh at the moment, we're excited to look into them in the next few races to see how they are holding up. We expect them to look great. If they benefit us, they will benefit anyone.
