With the oil spills these days they should be able to get some nice octane results.

nice to see we are progressing...$3-$6, bet it ends up being much more than that! when has uncle sam ever come in under budget LOL but still a good thing

$3-$6 is pretty accurate for the JP5 they use now. I've never seen it above $4... I would only assume this alternate fuel will be in the same ball park seeing it (sea water) is more readily available. But I'm sure they'll find a way to up the price like they do for ALL our other things we use in the military...

Interesting to see what type of fuel it is, eg a diesel type product or more like kerosine/jet fuel etc
