Default No radio reception on Kenwood KTS-300MR ???

My boat has a Kenwood KTS-300MR radio/CD/MP3 receiver. I am not able to get AM/FM radio reception. I determined that the antenna had become disconnected, but I reconnected it and still do not get any reception. Any suggestions??

Does it tune to odd or even numbers? 99.1/99.2?

If it tunes even, it is a euro tuner....but some are selectable

I have a similar kenwood 400 model. I would say check the pins in the plug connection if any are bent or for corrosion and making a good connection. Keep us posted in case it happens to mine.

Shouldn't be any pins. One straight plug. If the antenna is in it could be bad. However, who uses the radio these days?

I didn't really notice, but you could be on to something there.. the boat was overseas for a while. I will have to check that out..

OK, I checked the tuning this weekend and it tunes odd, ie: 99.1. I also swapped out the AM/FM antenna and put in a new one and still no reception. Any more ideas?
