Default Fuel Sender

My Scarab Sportster needs have the fuel tank sender replaced. The original unit is by ISSPRO. Can I replace it with a Moeller? I can buy an adjustable one since I don't know the size I need of a Moeller and replace it? The tank on the Scarab is underfloor and can't be very deep.

Thanks guys...

Thanks- My real issue is the gasket is probably shot since it looks like the original sender (23 years old- And I don't know how long it is.

We pulled my old sender (never read past 1/4 on the guage) and measured to the bottom of the tank. Ordered the correct length from Wema. I needed a 27" long one for the 38 Special tank - 220 gallons. Very nice product around $75.00

I used these. Going on the 4th season with them, no issues. cheap, and they work. My fuel gauges are pretty darn accurate. I have Autometer marine gauges.
