1982 Excalibur Hawk: Found this in one of the cubby holes and was wondering where on the boat it was once mounted.[ATTACH=CONFIG]522551[/ATTACH]

dont know where they mounted it but the first signiture is Bill Farmer, he was my next door neighbor for years. my dad was president of Chris Craft and we shared a dock with Bill behind the house so we always had fun stuff tied up to the dock.

Mine is mounted to the mirror that hinges for access under the dash. Not sure if that's where it "belongs" but that's where it is.

I dont remember having that on my 82 Hawk. Pretty cool though. I believe Don Abel's signature is there too.

I remember that one summer Don Abel decided that he wanted an all black boat for himself. it was a 31' if I remember correctly (been a lot of years ago). the boat was black hull, black deck, black cockpit with teak floors and black upholstry. it was gorgeous but by 10:00 you could feel the heat from it 20 feet away.
