Two new records in 24 hours and we have not heard any public comments from Mr. Fountain. Right after Reggie set the record 10 years ago Mike released a statement of congratulations from Outerlimits in a great show of sportsmanship. I am sure Matt Trulio has Reggie's phone number and I find it odd he has been silent. This new record was literally set in Reggie's back yard so I am sure he knows about it. I did see a brief Facebook comment from Ben Robertson offering congratulations which shows the well respected level of sportsmanship from Ben.

At a time when we have seen far too much bad news for our sport, we should all be glad to see some positive news and be happy for Outerlimits and crew.

RFIII congratulated Outerlimits this morning on Facebook, and there were pictures of Reggie hanging out at the Kilo Run. So I am thinking congraulating Mike, Brian and team in person is better then reading a press release.

I really think the big fountain / outerlimits rivalry only exists anymore on internet forums. Seems that everyone else has moved on.
