Helping a friend out here, recently sold a boat and looking to get into another. I know these posts usually do well, and OSO often comes up with a number of boats that aren't conventionally listed or not quite to market yet... but here goes:
1) 38'+ V-bottom boat. Nothing older than 05-06 I'd say. Friend is coming from a 38' Cig and would ideally like to be in the low 40' range.
2) $200k budget max, but 150k is more along the lines of where he'd want to be
3) Amenities over speed. He likes fast boats, but looking also to have the room and a place to say. His search has mainly been Nortech 43Vs and Outerlimits so far.
4) No projects... ready to go
5) He is NOT opposed to triples, will consider anywhere from 525/XR boats all the way to big power 6 boats.
6) EFI only
Not picky at all in this search, more concerned with finding a great "deal", then saying he needs "brand x boat with specific power". Buyer is cash in hand and ready to pull trigger tomorrow. What's out there?

Donzi makes a nice boat with plenty of amenities. If I had that kind of coin I'd be looking at one of these: http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o56291-en.html
However if he wants stand up room go with a 38ZX. Just bought a 2000 and love it.
Tell him good luck. With that kind of bank he will have lots to choose from.

If amenities are your thing I would stick with Nortech/Outerlimits. A T/S Cig isn't going to make you happy with no head/micro/fridge, etc.... Right now there's a couple 42OL that will run 100+ with AC/Genny and mild power for under $200k.
