Just thought I would take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Mark and I live in St. Pete Florida. I am the proud (new to me) owner of a 1989 357 SR1. She has been covered and kept high and dry all her life and is still sporting her original Imron colors and looks like new.
She has a pair of 502s with TRS drives. Pictures will be posted soon.

Forgot to mention she is fresh water cooled. The motors were replaced in 2010 and have less than 150 hrs. Drives were freshened up around 200 hrs ago. All new gauges and electronics. Cabin needs a little work on the factory cloth upholstery, but she has a killer Clarion stereo, tv, fridge, AC and a new Westerbeke Gen set. Everything works. Previous owner owns a marine power shop and has taken meticulous care of this thing. I hope to get her out on the water next week. Should have insurance by tomorrow.

OK. So I took her out today with my wife and my son. It was a beautiful day. I didn't get but 1 or 2 pics, but I will try to post them later today. I'm going to start a new post in a minute about K tabs. I will need some help from y'all.
Thanks

Sweet Rig. We just took an identical '89 357 out of Haulover here in SE Florida on Saturday in 6-8 ft seas...yeah it was crazy!!
Lil' Red was down from Boston so we put him at the helm and did he run the snot out of that boat!!! We went all the way to the Miami Harbor entrance about 2 miles out for a run of about 15 miles. We were able to run 40-45 very safely but it was rough to say the least. We were airborne several times. I was standing behind the helm bolster hanging on to the Bolster Handle with all my strength...needless to say I am still sore today.
What you have is an extremely sea worthy and capable boat that realistically will withstand more abuse than your body will.
Enjoy and wear your kill lanyards if you do any heavy offshore running....LOL.
