Default Anyone used 3M Perfect-it Rubbing Compound?

Im going to buff my boat this up coming weekend. Has anyone ever used this compound before? I just have slight oxidation. Also I removed a old graphic (sticker) and its funny that where I took the sticker off, its duller then the surrounding boat..which is funny cause its usually the other way around. But I am going to buff it with this 3M...is this stuff good, or not?

I use it on my cars. If you just have light oxidation it should work no problem. I use Fountain Of Youth products on my boat, they work better on gel coat than the 3M.

My finish is in pretty good shape, so it doesn't need a heavy grit compound - but I've used 3M Perfect-It, and it works well. I use Fountain Of Youth Vitreo to keep and protect the shine.

Check out presta.
Google search it.
I think it's way better than the 3m line.

I use 3M Perfect It, followed by Finesse It polish and finish with 3M liquid wax. Keeps my black gel coat looking better than new!! Very deep gloss.

Prefer Wizzards or Presta on Gelcoat

I used it on my upper deck. Light oxidation. First scrubbed the boat with a grey scotch brite pad and some Bar Keepers freind powder then took the high speed to it with a cloth wheel and WOW what a deep shine already. Follow up with 3M finesse-it and then Collonite paste wax and talk about a deep shine.

Another Fountain of Youth user here... For the light oxidation I would use "Totally Buff" and then follow up with Vitreo.

Works for me. Ultra Cutting Cream Light, followed by Ultra polish

Apply the finesse by hand or a buffer?
