Default Bow eye access on a 300?

I have a loose bow eye and haven't had a chance to pull cushions off the v-berth or even figure out where it would be yet.

Is there a way to get to the back to tighten it back down?

Thanks guys..

Never looked for it, but I am guessing you need to remove the front panel above the bed and it will be behind there.

Thanks, it's either behind the mirror or way up inside that front compartment under the bed.

I'll try to take pictures while I'm working on it to complete the post..

On my 270 (I know quite a different boat) the mirror was hinged at the top for access into that area for storage; the bow eye could be accessed there. I mention this because PQ did a lot of thing similar thing across most lines.

remove the 4 screws on the front panel(hidden with screw caps) loosen one of the valance so it hangs down and then you could remove the panel,

I am not sure it came loose it might have crushed the 2x4 they have as a backing plate

Thanks for the info, I plan to remove and re-bed this. I'll make sure things are well on the inside.

Got the bow eye tightened. The bottom nut was backed off quite a bit on the inside. Boat has never been trailered so the eye was probably never used. Now to get the panels back in the right spot.

This is what you see when you talk the front 'wall' with the mirror off

Here is the bow eye just a bit in front of the bulk head. 19mm fit well.

Other noteables..

Cleat

To port, holding tank tube and its vent

To starboard, nav light wiring with what looks to be leads for docking lights?
