I had them build up a engine for me I was beyond pleased. If Jerry is still there assembling engines few people have assembled as many Hi Performance Marine engines as he has. He spent several decades building mercury racing engines. Really easy guy to talk with meets promised deliveries etc.

Looks to be a really good deal but I am somewhat lost here. The ad says 320 cc Patriot Aluminum heads and then below it lists 325 cc Dart Aluminum heads. Also says Dyno tested but see no numbers of the run. Also see no model or CFM for which Holley carb is installed for this app. Also what pistons and ring sets being used.

Great catch, I missed that. I called and they have one in stock ready to go with the Patriot heads. They told me they use Tri Star engines in WI to build them, so I checked them out and found this:

http://www.tristarengines.com/catalo...ne-series.html

Better value I think..built in 3/4 weeks and dyno tested(Approx 625 HP 680 torque)

I think that may be the winner here. Any input on them guys?.. thanks

Buy what you want, but if they use patriot heads on it, the rest of the motor probably has cheap stuff in it too.

for the tristar engine - the crank is from Scat and by the way its worded really can't tell, I think the rods are as well from Scat.
