Default Well I stripped the steering gears

In short detail in changing the sea pump and doing the gimbal I probably got frustrated and stripped the gears just behind the steering wheel anyway it's an 88 formula and something needs fixing any advice would be appreciated -thanks I know I'm not the only one who has done this lol

Sooo, This is Rack steering? Not Hyd? A Cable that bolts to the back of the helm? Are the Gear thread stripped or the cable? I think the cable gears are softer so you don't ruin the helm. Even if you did I think you can get a replacement gear, what brand is it? we needs more info
