My new to me Tantrum has not got the best turning radius and is not real dock friendly was thinking about changing the cable does anyone know the length. It has the dual cable now with single ram add on hydraulic. I have a single ram actuator that I was going to use, would just have to change helm and cable.

Check the gimbal, my 97 was whipped when I bought it.

cable to hydraulic is a PITA. Very hard to turn th wheel at slow speeds, making docking a b**ch. Mine was cable to hydraulic until I added an internal IMCO kit. Once you go full hyd you'll be thanking yourself.

I had it on the boat I have the actuator from very nice, but this is stock power and plan to stay that way
