what heads 308 darts 290 or 305 afr heads

My engine is 10 to 1 454 stroked to 496 cam is a flat tappet 244 254 @.50 570 575 lift need intake carb head recommendations this is a budget build or I would go roller but thought spending money on the heads would b worth it

A properly spec'd cam/head/induction setup, is of much more benefit, than compromising parts working together.
As far as your head options, if 10:1 is where you want to be, I'd be looking at Aluminum heads. Brodix has some nice options, and so does AFR. What I like about the both of them, is you can get an as cast version of their head, with the CNC program run thru the chambers and bowl area. Well worth the cost imo. Get with Bob Madera on the AFR heads, or Eddie Young on the Brodix. Both are good guys and supporters of oso, and will not only offer competitive pricing, but also invaluable technical help to meet your goals.

You need to use heads and a cam that work together. Use a roller cam. There are some edelbrock heads in the swap shop that would most likely work well for you.
With 10:1 you are going want aluminum heads.
With 10:1 you are going want aluminum heads.
