We LOVE this Poker Run!

Not covered in Matt's article; although a highlight of the run. This is dead smack in the middle of BIG moonshine country. In fact, parts of the Discovery Channel show "Moonshiners" is cast and filmed in this exact area. I know of a few places where one can phone in an order, and pick it up on the dock via boat just like a drive through.




It's a real shame that Carol could not run her MTI after that trip from Ft. Wayne, IN to Sarasota, FL, to Huddleston, VA. She said it had oil coming out of the valve cover breather.

And even if I had known that moonshine "fun fact" I wouldn't have included it, but I am glad you did, Brian, in your post. Very good information to have if you find yourself in those parts.

You know Matt it would be really cool if you came to the east coast to cover one of these runs........just sayin
