Default Changing to left hand.

I am changing the prop and rotation on my Velocity VR 1. Going from right hand to left hand. Can any one give me or point me to instructions on changing the rotation on the drives. I know it is changed at the
throttle/shift levers but that is all. I just want to be prepared when I get out to the boat.

Thanks,

Padraig

Only out of interest, and hope someone chimes in with the truth, but I always thought is was to do with your engine rotation....rotates left or right which will rotate your drive..?.?.?

If you have a Bravo 1 style drive, yes you can change the rotation of the drive at the shift levers. Moving the cable above the pivot point reverses the pull on the cable to a push.

You can test the propellers reaction by installing the opposite rotation prop and shifting into reverse without changing the linkage and the boat will travel forward. This way you will know how the boat reacts without having to do the extra work.
